Today the MOW team had a meeting at the Sunol Station. We discussed many ongoing projects. One of them was Verona where there was a shelter near the tracks that may have been designed by Julia Morgan. The Verona shelter was built for Randolph Hearst’s mother who had a home at what is now the country club near Verona. The progress and schedule for building track to Pleasanton was reviewed and the need for windows for Mongo, the MOW railcar, was discussed.
